Creature Info

Vampires:

Offensively referred to as leeches. These blood sucking creatures thrive off of feeding from humans. A lack in feeding often results in a vampires death from malnutrition. They do, indeed, need to be changed into vampires and are not naturally born as them. While most of the legends aren’t true, such as burning in sunlight, inability to eat human food and sleeping in coffins. Others are true, such as being invited into another person’s home and having a lure that pulls humans in. Vampires at McKinley are there to learn mainly to control their thirst for blood and powers in strength and speed. As such they are fed only needed amounts of blood that has been taken from blood donors at the nearest hospitals along with the usual amounts of human foods. As such, newly bred vampires are often a bit snappy and their tempers are usually on edge from not being overly fed and giving into their large amounts of thirst. Vampires are unable to feed on other creatures, in fact just the thought repulses them. As they are prone to easy relapse into human-killing ways, vampires are often the hardest to tame in ways of good vs. evil.

Werewolves:

Shapeshifters. More common to find males as werewolves rather than women. Offensively referred to as dogs, mutts or hounds. While werewolves aren’t known for their tempers, their emotions can often cause them to change into their wolf forms, be it sadness, anger or just being over joyed to an extreme. Werewolves aren’t born naturally, needing to be bitten or changed into the creatures. Some of the most deadly creatures when in wolf form, they are typically harmless in human form, which can be difficult as they are often picked on by other creatures who think they can mess with them. Werewolves are typically fed lots of animal meats in hopes that their tastes will become accustom to that rather than the alternative of human flesh. Werewolves are typically trained in specific classes dealing with control and how to resist a change, though it can be very difficult for most to control. Legends such as only changing during a full moon are untrue, while certain things like heightened since of smell and hearing are true. While werewolves are deadly, they mean no harm to other creatures despite being dangerous in a fight.

Angels:

Healers. Angels are known as past humans that have died yet been given another chance to help others. As they are naturally very calm and kindhearted they aren’t very deadly. Most Angels were sent back to keep peace on earth. They walk around as normal humans, but with a great manipulation to emotion. They have a calming ability and are also capable of healing. Both emotional manipulation and healing abilities are learned to control in classes. Often it takes many years to master, healing and emotion manipulation both taking great concentration. When Angels graduate from McKinley they are sent to keep peace in the world until it is their true time to pass on. They are often sweet, though not all of them choose to do good with their powers. They can reverse a person’s good mood into a bad one and can often cause death to others if they wished, despite this not being in their nature. Traitors to the good-natured attitude of Angels are called Demons.

Fairies:

Fairies, or fae, are often quite senseless. They like to joke around but don’t think about the consequences of their actions until it’s too late. While they usually mean no harm, they can often get themselves or others into great trouble without actually meaning to. They enjoy a good laugh and can be really sweet. Fairies or Fae, are usually born that way, though they do have the ability to change humans into Fairies as well, should they be careless with their powers. They have a bit of an attention-whoreish quality about them though. They like being the center of attention and can be very territorial, most of them known to have a huge jealous streak within them. Fairies have great power, such as transportation by the snap of their fingers and element control but it usually takes a lot to learn to use these powers, as they really aren’t the brightest and their powers can often get them into more trouble than they are worth. Fairies are usually strongest when faced with one of the 5 elements; Earth, Wind, Water, Fire and Spirit. They take classes to learn about each one and how to get in touch with the elements, as well as classes for transportation.

Succubus/Incubus:

Often the most cynical of creatures. Succubi are born into their heritage from the moment they turn 13, they begin to change. While they don’t typically come into their full nature until around the age of 16, they start taking on some of the qualities of the Succubi at the early age. They live for one thing, literally. Sex is their form of life. They find this easiest with humans, as they have a charming seduction lure that humans find irresistible. The only flaw? Sex with humans usually ends in death for the human by the succubus/incubus literally sucking out their souls through sex. Of course, succubi/incubi often forget that they don’t constantly need sex, once every month or so usually keeps them living. But the more sex that’s had, the more of a craving there is for it. While they can have sexual relations with other creatures and within their own breed, as most creatures are resistant to their seductions and able to withstand the great harm that comes with succubi sex, it’s not preferred by most as Succubi/Incubi tend to have trouble staying committed to one person. Succubus/Incubus go to classes to learn to control their urges in sex. While it can’t stop completely, they learn to keep it to the minimum, and possibly how to keep up stable relationships. Succubi/Incubi are natural dream walkers. They don’t dream themselves but if they are near someone else that’s sleeping they can often find themselves pulled into the other person’s dream, unable to affect it but still able to watch it play out within a person’s mind, their own appearance just coming off as though they were sleeping as well. Succubi/Incubi don’t tend to associate with their own kind, often creating rivalries since they see them as competition that’s stealing their prey. While they aren’t the best in the world, they can hold their own in a fight. They are not weak and will not be taken as pushovers. They may not have claws or teeth or deadly magic powers, but they can be ruthless by using sexual manipulation or cutting remarks. Some even learn to fight for themselves so they aren’t seen as weaklings when faced in a fight with other creatures.
